Healthy Banana Bread Recipe

So, you let a few bananas go bad again. Instead of tossing them in the trash, use them as the main ingredient in this delicious, but healthy, banana bread recipe.

Ingredients for banana bread

  • 4 bananas

  • 2 cups of blended oats

  • 2 eggs (substitute egg whites if preferred)

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 6 tbsp honey (substitute for any sweetener you’d like)

Recipe for banana bread

Mix all wet ingredients together including mashed banana, eggs, vanilla and honey. Stir in the dry ingredients including blended oats and baking soda. Once mixed together well, pour everything into a baking dish and bake at 350° for 35-45 minutes.

Add toppings of your choice, whether they’re healthy or not (wink, wink)! Some ideas include Struesal topping, brown sugar, chocolate or peanut butter drizzle.

Additionally, add chocolate chip morsels to the recipe before baking for extra texture and flavor.
