Online Training
A Real Coach, Wherever You Train.
Remote programming from AIM's coaching team. Written programs built for your body and your equipment, video form check-ins, and weekly contact with a coach who actually knows your name.
Online Training That Is Not Just an App
The last five years are littered with fitness apps that gave you a program and left you alone. Online training at AIM is a real coaching relationship — remote, but still a relationship. Your coach writes your program, watches your lifts via video, adjusts based on how you're actually responding, and texts you back when you have a question at 6 AM.
If you live too far from Mentor to train in person, travel too much to keep a facility schedule, or just prefer training at your home gym — this is the setup. Same credentialed coaches delivering the same quality of programming you'd get at the facility, remotely.
1. Intake
Video or phone intake call. We cover your training history, injuries, equipment access, schedule, and goals. You'll submit a short movement video so your coach can see how you move before writing anything.
2. Program
Your coach writes a 4-week block delivered on a shared app. Sets, reps, loads, tempo, rest, cueing notes, and alternates if your equipment is limited that day.
3. Check-In
Weekly text or video check-in with your coach. Send form videos as often as you want. Program adjusts every 4 weeks based on what's working.

Who Online Training Works For
Online training works best for self-motivated adults who want serious programming but can't be at the facility 2-3 times a week. Former in-person clients who moved. Lifters at a home gym who want a plan. Travelers. People in Northeast Ohio towns beyond a reasonable drive to Mentor.
If you want hands-on form coaching and the energy of the floor, in-person personal training is the better fit.
Online Training FAQ
How is this different from an app like Trainerize or MacroFactor?
Apps give you workouts. Online training gives you a coach who writes your program, watches your form via video, adjusts the plan based on how you're responding, and holds you accountable. The app is a tool. The coach is the service.
Do I need to live in Ohio?
No. Online clients train from anywhere. We've worked with people in other states who need serious programming without the drive, former in-person clients who moved, and travelers whose schedules don't allow consistent facility access.
What equipment do I need at home or at my gym?
It depends on your goals. Serious strength work needs barbells, plates, and a rack. General strength, conditioning, and body composition work can be done with limited equipment. Your coach will write around what you have access to.
How often will I hear from my coach?
You'll get your written program on a shared platform, and your coach checks in weekly at minimum. Video form reviews happen as often as you send them. Direct message access is included for questions between check-ins.
How much does online training cost?
Online training is typically priced lower than in-person personal training since you don't need facility time. Pricing depends on program complexity and check-in frequency. Reach out for current rates.
